FAQs on Shamanic Healing

You Ask - I Answer

Are you a Shaman?

I have trained as a Shamanic and visionary practitioner. In Scotland, the correct word is seer.

Words can be loaded with many connotations and various images come to mind when certain words are said.

What comes to mind when you think of the word Shaman? And what comes to mind when you think of the word seer? There is a differing cultural lens to look through. Ultimately this is animist work, which means the belief we are connected to the natural world and that the natural world has an invisible realm of spirit behind it.

Will I have to do anything in the 1-1 sessions?

I will ask before your session to send me a completed form, which will have some questions on it to fill in.

At the beginning of your session, we will have a chat about was is written on the form and work together to come up with some intentions you would like to make.

During the session, I will ask you to lie down or sit comfortably and close your eyes, whilst I will use musical instruments. At the end of the session it will be brief, where we will share our feedback.

What training do you have?

I have done training with Carol Day of the Centre for Creative Vision as a Shamanic practitioner in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

In 2022 I did training with Betsy Bergstrom on curse unravelling and de-possession. In 2022 I did training with Gillian Alexander of Sacred Heart on ancestral healing.

In 2021 I completed a COSCA Counselling Skills certificate. From 2022 onwards for 2 years I'm completing a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.

Ultimately, the work I do as a facilitator is spirit-led, and stems from the guidance of my compassionate, helping spirits. The invisible realms never fail to surprise with their incredible wisdom and healing.
